How we’re funded

muzea.waw.pl is free to read. The site is funded by advertising and by commissions from booking partners - not by museums paying for a listing. No museum pays to appear in the catalogue, and nobody tells us what to write about its exhibitions or opening hours.

Below is the current list of booking partners you can book tickets, flights and stays through, plus the advertising network whose ads we display. We’re adding more over time, as we review each program’s terms.

GetYourGuide

GetYourGuide is a booking platform for tickets and guided tours, operating in most European cities. For museums in our catalogue, you can book skip-the-line entry tickets, guided tours, and the Warsaw Pass - a multi-museum card covering a dozen-plus Warsaw institutions for one price.

LOT Polish Airlines

LOT Polish Airlines is Poland’s flag carrier, with direct flights to Warsaw from most major European cities as well as from North America and Asia. If you’re planning a museum weekend in Warsaw and flying in from abroad, you can book your flight directly with the airline.

The banner below is served from the CJ advertising network and only appears after you consent to ads. Without that consent nothing connects to a third-party server, and the frame shows a promotion for our Krakow catalogue instead.

Booking.com

Booking.com is one of the world’s largest accommodation booking platforms. You’ll find Warsaw hotels and apartments at every price point - including right next to the museums we cover. On museum profiles in our catalogue we also suggest places to stay near that particular institution.

The same rule applies here: the banner comes from the CJ network and appears after ad consent; before that, the frame holds our own promotion.

Google AdSense

Google AdSense is Google’s advertising network. Unlike our booking partners it doesn’t sell tickets or stays - it serves ads from a range of advertisers, and Google decides which ones. Consent for these ads is collected by Google’s message (IAB TCF standard), shown on your first visit; you can change your decision at any time via the “Manage consent” link in the footer.

The frame below is handled entirely by AdSense. An ad appears in it only after you consent - without consent the space holds a promotion for our Krakow catalogue instead.
