What to expect

Over 150 pinball and arcade machines in one hall on Kolejowa street, more than 100 of them switched on and waiting. The place opened in June 2016 out of the collection of two Warsaw hobbyists - they started with thirty machines - and calls itself an interactive pinball museum, the first of its kind in the city.

The thing to understand before you go: nothing is behind glass and you do not feed it coins. The entry ticket covers unlimited play on everything that works, right up to closing time. The range is wide - pre-war electromechanical machines including a Bord-Golf from 1932, the 1980s and 1990s classics, and modern tables. A fair number of them are not on public display anywhere else in Poland.

The staff know the hardware and are happy to explain where a particular machine came from and how to play it. Worth asking, rather than reverse-engineering a forty-year-old scoring rule by trial and error.

Tips

  • 69 PLN full price (~€16), 59 PLN for pupils and students (valid ID required), 49 PLN junior under 12, free for under-4s. Ten percent off for Large Family Card holders, visitors with a disability and honorary blood donors.
  • There are no extra charges. One ticket is unlimited play until closing - which is why it pays to come with time in hand rather than for an hour.
  • Friday and Saturday evenings run longest (to midnight) and are the busiest. For a quiet session without queueing for the popular tables, aim for Monday or Tuesday afternoon.
  • Allow two to three hours minimum. With a hundred working machines, an hour gets you a lap of the hall but not much playing.
  • School groups have their own track: 45 PLN per pupil, supervisors free, sessions before public opening (9:00-12:00 works best), with a 30-45 minute introduction to the history of pinball. Book by email.
  • Check the closed dates: 5 April, 1 November 2026, 24 and 25 December closed; 31 December closes at 19:00.
  • Ages 8 and up - younger children usually cannot reach the flipper buttons without a step, and the scoring on the older machines is hard to follow.
  • Staff speak English; the machines themselves are almost all English-language.
