Day 1: Old Town core

Four stops, all within a 20-minute walk of each other - the same cluster as the one-day route, because if you have a weekend you still want this core first.

Start at Copernicus Science Centre by the river (it needs the most time), then walk 15-20 minutes uphill into the Old Town for the three-museum cluster around the Market Square: Museum of Warsaw on the square itself, the Dollhouse Museum 3 minutes down ul. Podwale, and the Pharmacy Museum another 3 minutes away on ul. Piwna.

Day 2: POLIN, then Łazienki and the city centre

Start at POLIN in the morning - it’s one of the world-class museums in this catalogue and deserves the fresher part of your day. POLIN is closed on Tuesdays, so if Day 2 falls on a Tuesday, swap the two days around. From Muranów, cross town to Royal Łazienki (roughly 25-30 minutes by tram or bus) for the palace and the park - allow time to actually walk the grounds, not just tour the buildings. Finish at the Palace of Culture’s viewing terrace on the way back into the centre, a short, high-payoff stop with the best skyline view in the city.
