Warsaw Pass in 24 Hours: Is It Worth It for One Day?
The Warsaw Pass (GetYourGuide product t390318) covers more than twenty Warsaw attractions and starts at 179 PLN (~€42) for the 24-hour version. If you’re only in the city for a day, the question isn’t “what does it cover” - it’s whether four or five museums in a single day actually clear that price. Below is a realistic route, and the honest math on when the pass pays off and when it doesn’t.

The route: Old Town plus one river-bank detour
Four stops, all within a 20-minute walk of each other. Start in the Old Town, finish by the river.

Start at Copernicus Science Centre - it’s the single busiest attraction in our whole catalogue and needs the most time, so do it first while you’re fresh. It sits on the river bank in Powiśle. From there it’s a 15-20 minute uphill walk (or two tram stops) to the Old Town, where the other three sit within a few minutes of each other on and around the Old Town Market Square: Museum of Warsaw anchors the square itself, the Dollhouse Museum is a 3-minute walk down ul. Podwale, and the Pharmacy Museum is another 3 minutes away on ul. Piwna.
Note the Pharmacy Museum’s hours carefully - it’s closed Sunday and Monday, so this exact route only works Tuesday through Saturday. If you’re visiting on a Sunday or Monday, swap it for a fifth Old Town stop from the list below (Museum of the Archdiocese of Warsaw is a good substitute, and pushes the math below in the pass’s favour).
Does the pass pay off for this exact route? Be honest: usually not
Buying tickets separately for these four stops: 48 + 25 + 42 + 12 = 127 PLN. The 24-hour Warsaw Pass starts at 179 PLN. That’s 52 PLN more than the tickets alone cost - for this specific route, paying at the door is cheaper.
The pass adds skip-the-line entry, a guided-tour option at some venues, and the Chopin piano concert bundled into the product - so it isn’t a pure loss if you value convenience over 52 PLN. But if you’re comparing on price alone, don’t buy it for exactly these four museums.
Where it does tip in the pass’s favour: add a fifth paid stop. Museum of the Archdiocese of Warsaw (25 PLN) or Zachęta National Gallery of Art (30 PLN) are both in or near the Old Town and would push the ticket total to 152-157 PLN - still under 179 PLN, so you’d need something closer to 55 PLN’s worth extra, which two modest add-ons cover. If your day includes five stops rather than four, run the numbers again before deciding - a one-day pass earns its price fast once you’re past four museums.
What’s in the pass but not on this route
- Chopin Museum - the pass description lists it, but the museum itself is closed for renovation until an expected reopening in January 2027. Don’t route a day around it; check back after the closure ends.
- Legia Warsaw Stadium - the pass names the stadium entry, which is not confirmed to be the same admission as our Legia Warsaw Museum profile (the club museum). That museum is also currently closed for renovation (expected Q3 2026), so it’s excluded either way.
- “National Museum of Technology” - listed in the pass description, but there’s no museum by that name in our Warsaw catalogue. We can’t verify or link what we can’t find.
