muzea.waw.pl is an independent, bilingual guide to every museum in Warsaw - Polish and English. For Museum Night 2026 we built an interactive Planner - the first tool of its kind in Poland, helping visitors plan their route across the museums open through the night of 16/17 May.

Museum Night 2026 Planner
Link: muzea.waw.pl/en/guides/night-of-museums-warsaw-2026/plan-your-night
Poland’s first interactive route planner for Museum Night. It helps Warsaw residents and visitors build a realistic evening plan across 66 confirmed museums open through the night of 16/17 May 2026.
What it does:
- Three views: List, Map, Time (timeline)
- Drag-and-drop - reorder your route by hand
- Mobile-first - designed for use in the field, on a phone
- Shareable route links - the generated link saves the whole route. Anyone clicking it sees the exact same plan, enabling families and friend groups to coordinate the evening together - everyone starts from the same route and can adjust it further
- Print and export - one-page printable, image export
- PL + EN - language toggle built in
- Works offline after first load
Who it’s for: families with children, groups of friends, foreign visitors, and locals who want a sane route. Warsaw’s Museum Night draws over 300,000 visitors annually - most improvise and lose half the evening in queues. The planner solves that.

Why it’s worth covering
A local, independent project, built without public funding or sponsors.
Data you won’t find elsewhere. Profiles for 118 museums - from POLIN and the Royal Castle down to single-room memorial chambers. We rely on official museum sources - websites, press materials, direct submissions from institutions - plus our own editorial research.
Readers come back. Museums send us updates on their own. Repeat traffic signals genuine utility, not one-off pageviews.
Before Museum Night (16/17 May 2026) - the optimal publication window. The planner is ready, seasonal traffic kicks in during early May.
Quotes you can use
All quotes below are pre-cleared for publication - no need to check back before using.
“Warsaw’s Museum Night draws over 300,000 visitors, and most of them improvise and lose half the evening to queues. The planner solves a specific problem: it lets you pick a handful of museums, sequence them sensibly, and spend the night looking at things instead of navigating.”
- editorial team, muzea.waw.pl
“We added something to the planner we needed ourselves: a link that saves the whole route. You send it to friends and everyone starts from the same plan. It looks trivial, but Museum Night is something people do in groups - families, friend groups - and without a shared starting point, half the night turns into ‘so what now?’”
- editorial team, muzea.waw.pl
“Warsaw has one of the densest museum offers in Poland - from POLIN and the Royal Castle down to single-room memorial chambers. Museum Night is the one evening a year when all of that becomes accessible in a single night. It would be a waste not to use it well.”
- editorial team, muzea.waw.pl

What you won’t find here
No “every museum is wonderful” framing. We have opinions - on logistics, accessibility, and value for money, not on the quality of art itself. We share them openly.
